Our Inarú Mini Bag takes its name from the Arawak word Inarú, meaning “woman.” Its padded silhouette draws inspiration from the form of bat wings, reinterpreted through a sculptural and contemporary design language.

In Taíno symbolism, the bat represents ancestry, spiritual connection, and the passage between worlds. Considered a sacred being, it embodied the connection between the earthly and spiritual realms, acting as a messenger between memory, transformation, and ancestral knowledge. Echoing this symbolism, the Inarú Mini Bag becomes an expression of identity, protection, and reconnection with one’s roots.

Crafted from cactus-based leather — an ecological alternative to traditional leather produced in Mexico — the Inarú Mini Bag balances innovation with conscious craftsmanship. Each piece is artisanally made in San Cristóbal by Cathy Dipré, a highly skilled artisan with expertise in patternmaking.
